This has been a great week for me. I had the entire week off from work, I spent time with my aunt & uncle and their triplets on their 17th anniversary (we had a great anniversary dinner), and my anniversary was last Tuesday!
I also read a number of great articles this week, and I would like to share them with you. But first let me announce that the Yakezie Personal Finance network that I’m a part of now has an official website.
So, here are a few posts from the Yakezie network:

Kevin @ Invest it Wisely wrote a guest post for Christian Common Cents, where he teaches the difference between volunteering and forced giving, by telling a tale of a traveler, poor woman and scheming farmer. This is one of the best and most thought-provoking articles I have read in a while! You must take a few minutes to read it, and make sure you join the discussion in the comments.
Joe Plemon @ Personal Finance by the Book answers the popular question, “Does the bible teach communism?“. Another excellent article by Joe, and his answer not only addresses this question, but it can also help us develop a method of general bible study!
Paul Williams @ Provident Plan looks at Ecclesiastes 5:10-11 as a part of his “Personal Finance in the Bible” series. If you are looking for “more money” to satisfy you, then you will always be disappointed.
Barbara Friedberg @ Barbara Friedberg Personal Finance gives great advice in “Need extra money? Do not do this!”. Many people that I know have already done this, or they plan to do it – make sure you don’t make this mistake as well.
David Hamilton @ Financial Planning Tips wrote a guest post for Budgeting in the Fun Stuff telling us how to improve our personal financial health. This article is full of great tips that you can easily implement for big changes!
Neal @ Wealth Pilgrim shows us what to do if we lose our wallet. We should all be prepared in case this happens.
Jeff @ Deliver Away Debt wrote a very short piece explaining how to payoff all debt. This article gets straight to the point and it will not take you much time to read it.
Budgeting in the Fun Stuff takes a look at a recent Yahoo.com article giving 10 tips to save $1,000 by Christmas. This is a good read to see how much you can save by applying these tips.
Bucksome Boomer takes a look at establishing a foundation for giving and sharing in your home. This is a good read for anyone who wants to make charity a priority.

Other great articles:
Kim Luu @ Money and Risk writes about a man who changed the world with only $200/year! This post was definitely an inspiration, and shows that you don’t have to have a big bank account to make a big difference!
David @ Money Crashers lists seven things that he would never buy. I love lists like these, because you can learn so much about saving money!

KNS Financial on the web:
Articles from our “Faithful With A Few” blog were featured on the various websites over the last week:
Finally, my wife and I would like to thank everyone who took the time to wish us a happy anniversary. Your phone calls, texts, emails, Facebook comments, and comments on the article were all very special! If you haven’t had a chance to read the article, here it is:

Khaleef, thank you for including my article, “Need Extra Money? Don’t do this.” I am honored you promoted it in your round up.
No problem! It was a great article and I agree with it 100%! I just hope that people will follow your advice.
Thanks for doing the wrap mate!
No problem. I want to do a full one in the near future. I’ll check the schedule.
Khaleef,
Happy anniversary.
Thank you for the mention. I’m honored to be included especially with all those great posts you just pointed out.
I’m glad you posted a list of articles this week. I look forward to checking it out.
The Yakezie group has so many great bloggers. I just wished I had enough time to visit everyone all the time. Sigh. There’s just not enough hours in the day to do everything.
Thanks! I love reading these roundups that other bloggers put together, that’s why I started doing it.
You are right, there is so much great material out there. I have a “Yakezie” folder in my RSS reader with every site included – I still have about 400 articles to read!
Ack. I gave up reading on RSS feed two months ago. Last look showed my pending unread articles at over 102,000. I’m way overload. I just randomly click around when I have time in between now.
Woah! I have a bunch of Yakezies and non-Yakezies in my RSS reader, but I admit that sometimes I just scroll very quickly through the titles and then “mark all as read” if nothing catches my eye. It’s very hard to go through 200+ articles a day…
Thanks for the inclusion, and congrats again! You possess the true riches of life: A life filled with love and joy. Seeing true success is inspiring, so thanks for sharing that!
Thank you for your kind words!
Oh, Akismet snagged you again.
Thanks for the mention! I loved your wife’s response in the comments on your anniversary post. I’m glad she was so happily surprised! I truly wish the best to you both – I’m sure you will have an awesome future!
Thank you for the kind words! A few people have mentioned how much they liked her comments; Joe even suggested that she become a staff writer! Lol…I hope she understands it will be voluntary!
Khaleef,
Thanks for the kind words and for including my post in your roundup.
No problem! I always enjoy reading your posts!
