PromotionCode.Org Review

If you’ve been reading this blog for any period of time, you know that we are sticklers for a good deal!  We love using our coupon database for in store coupons and I regularly will perform a search on Google for promotional codes to save money when purchasing from online retailers.

I’ve never paid attention to one specific place to trust for promotional codes, and so I was excited when I was asked to write a review* of  www.promotioncode.org to see what the site has to offer.

Need A Home Decorators Promotional Code?

This site is very straightforward and easy to use.  From the home page, you can search for the name of the store you are interested in and see what’s available or search through a list of all the newest promotion codes. Since people are telling me that the housing market is recovering (I’m still not sold on that one), I decided to look for a Home Decorators promotional code. I expected to find one or two – probably expired! However, the search returned ten live Home Decorators coupon codes!

Once a store is chosen, you are able to see the coupons available, and the percent of success of those who have used it.  As a matter of fact, you are able to click on buttons designating whether or not the code worked or failed.  You are also able to leave comments and enter new codes that may not be on the site.

According to the site, this type of user interaction is important to its reliability.  They say, “Whether by listing new promotion codes that work for you or by reporting the success or failure of codes posted by others, you help ensure that PromotionCode.org stays current and is the most useful source of discount codes and coupons on the web.”

The information supplied by the users also determines how long a code stays on the site, with ‘dead’ ones being removed in a timely manner. There is also a tab that lists links for codes that offer free and discounted shipping, and you are also able to sign up to receive new coupons by email for the stores that you select.

Overall, I found the process to be very easy, and the fact that they are constantly removing expired coupon codes is very encouraging. I plan to visit the site whenever I buy something online (which is very often)!
