I have made some big changes in my personal finance habits. Recently, I decided to take control and get a handle on my finances. This week I enrolled in online banking, mint, and set up a budget. These were pretty much all foreign to me. I am tired of living check to check and was inspired recently to change my ways. Getting my husband on board will be the interesting part!
Since I set this all up in the past week, my January spending and budget was a disaster. I have been counting the days til February 1st! I now have a clean slate. I feel like I have some freedom already. The past 2 days I got excited to run out to the mailbox, and yes I ran. 1. I am a runner. 2. It is -14 degree windchill. You would have run too. I was excited to get bills and a pay stub. Who am I?
My husband is wondering what has happened to me and is currently looking for his unorganized care free spender of a wife. She’s gone! Thank you all for inspiring me to get a handle on things.
Here are just a few of the people that have impacted my new habits! Enjoy!
