Hey Everyone! Remember last week I told you about potty training?
Well, we are saving big bucks this week on diapers! My two year old Tessa has used one diaper a day, only at night, all week! She has picked up the potty training pretty easily telling me when she has to go number 1 every single time, and we have weaned her off of the stickers and m&ms already.
Now if only we could convince her not to hide behind the chair, under the table, or in the closet when she has to go number 2!
I have been working hard trying to build our savings up from $0.95 at the beginning of February. Great news to report, we have now moved that number up to $3,074.17! The tax return did help, but some of that was from us setting money aside from our paychecks.
The fact that we set money aside to save from the tax return is a miracle in itself. It feels so good knowing there is a cushion of some sort. We just got paid, and I see a few more hundred going in there soon!
Thank you all for keeping me motivated to make wise financial decisions with your great posts!

Wow, that’s quite a bump, congrats! Even if the tax return helped, money is still money and there is no cheating when it comes to beefing up your savings account.
Now don’t go spending it Julie, instead show us how you made that money earn more money for you!
