Over the last few months I have made many changes to this site, with many more planned. I even participated in a 30-day blogging challenge, in order to force myself to write more often.
Now I am participating in something different. I am now a part of the Yakezie Challenge. This is a challenge for personal finance writers to get their Alexa traffic rank to under 200,000.
What is Alexa?
For those who don’t know, Alexa provides a great toolbar for your browser that incorporates search, top news, and website information for free. They then rank websites based on how many Alexa toolbar users visit the site.
How does KNS Financial rank?
I installed the toolbar about a week ago, and my traffic rank at that time was a little over 1,704,000! It is now 828,363 as of today.

Awww, such kind words! Here’s what you can do:
- Install the Alexa toolbar to your browsers, on every computer that you use to visit this site
- Visit this site often – you may even want to make it your homepage!

Holy heck! I gotta reply again becaus I just saw you posted this on the 26th at 828k and #669 today (8 days later) and my alexa tool (their browser plugin) says your actually at #590. Rock the house! You’re smokin!

Thanks Kim! It’s funny because until a few weeks ago, I never heard of Alexa. About 10 days ago I installed the toolbar and my site was ranked 1,704,000!
I took a few days off because of some personal things, now I have to finish all of these drafts that I have. I’m writing my blog engage invitation request in their forums right now.
I submitted your post to BE from your button. I hadn’t considered that it would be shown as “shared by me” but it definitely points here.
