Celebrating Our Anniversary And A Few Faves

Hello Everyone! I hope you are having a great weekend. I sure will be by the time this posts.

My husband and I are celebrating our anniversary this weekend celebrating 4 wonderful years of marriage. Our actual anniversary is March 21.  We will be staying in a private cabin at a place called Serenity Springs. It is only about 30 mins away from where we live, but it will be amazing.

We will be in a small cabin with a hot tub, a butler door, and no kids! Peace, quiet, and relaxation.  This is where we spent our honeymoon, and we try to go back every year. It just happens that I was uncomfortably pregnant the last two years, so this is way overdue.

My husband booked the room with extended stay, so we could stay 3 PM on Saturday until 4 PM on Sunday instead of leaving at 11AM which is the normal check out.  The cost was around $350.00 and it was something we had planned for.  We didn’t however expect to see the transaction run through TWICE!

I got a notification that my checking account was negative.  I didn’t panic though, which is crazy because I would have been in tears before.  I called them and they apologized and had charges reversed. Although, it will take 3-4 days to go back into the account.

This wasn’t a huge deal to me because I had the money in savings to cover it until it was back in there. I would then, just move it back into savings. Having the money available was so exciting to me, even though it may not seem like a huge deal.

I just know this is something that has never happened. We are usually missing the money, and have no way to cover it. We spend days in stress for a mistake.

Well, I hope you can take time this weekend to relax and read some great posts from this week! Enjoy! <—[Khaleef here: I am posting this on Monday morning, but Julie wrote this before she left for the weekend...just didn't want you to think that she is going crazy ;-)]
