Amazon.com has recently reduce the price of it’s massively popular Kindle e-reader. This was in response to Barnes & Noble dropping the price of their Nook e-reader to $199. The Kindle now lists on Amazon.com for $189 – a 27% drop from the previous price of $259!
The Kindle gained it’s popularity as an e-reader due to it’s innovative e-ink technology, which reads like real paper rather than a computer screen. The $189 Kindle has 3-G and WiFi capabilities, and sports a 6″ display.
For those of you wondering is the iPad worth the money, you may want to give the Kindle a try!
